The purpose of the public review is to allow for broad comment by the general public. The draft standard must undergo review by the Global Governance Committee prior to posting for public review. The public review package, which includes the following items, is submitted to the GGG.

For TA Projects: The New Terminology Request Spreadsheet should be posted with the draft TA User Guide during the public review period.
After the public review has ended and all comments have been addressed, the project manager submits the provisional/final version of the draft standard to the GGG. The project team resolves any issues noted by the GGG prior to publication.
