The Project Charter describes and defines the project in sufficient detail so that the scope and feasibility can be reviewed and assessed by the Team Leads/TAPSC. Project charters are developed and maintained for all CDISC projects. One of the key deliverables of the scoping stage is the draft project charter that will continue to be developed by the team during Stages 1 and 2. As the Charter is refined, changes to the project proposal may be necessary. The project charter, proposal and scope should be kept aligned throughout the project.
The project charter is part of the package that is submitted to the Team Leads/TAPSC for approval to proceed to the next stage in the process, Stage 1 - Concept Modeling .
