Plan to publish 3.4 next November. All examples will be tagged with versions of the IG.

Process

1. Lab team to review examples and prepare for GGG meeting for internal review.
   1. IR is 3 weeks
   2. Resolve IR comments
2. Prepare for GGG meeting for public review
   1. PR is 60 days
   2. Resolve PR comments
3. Go to GGG to approve for publication
   1. Create metadata table (check in with Amy Palmer to help get table set up)

Team actions:

1. Review our existing examples and identify those that are worth developing for this effort. Scope for our examples should be for v3.4. Consider whether it would be useful that some of the examples we could create are those that aren’t necessarily changing between 3.3 and 3.4, we could create one example that we could tag with both things.
2. They do not want to see v3.4 example before the IG gets published (and IG3.4 isn’t getting published until Nov 2021).
   1. Team considers an evolutionary approach to our examples. Consider developing v3.2, v3.3, and v3.4-compliant examples BUT only send out v3.2 and v3.3 examples through the GGG process for publication by end of 2021. v3.4 examples will go through the GGG process separately, and after v3.4 is published (2022).
   2. Add LBLOINCs (where they exist in our mapping) for v3.2 and v3.3 examples (open question as to whether we show the suppquals).
3. Consider a new wiki space for our lab team examples. Amy thinks it needs to be moved into a document space. Consider two areas, one for SDTMIGv3.3 examples and one for SDTMIGv3.4 examples.
4. Review the examples currently in knowledge base to determine whether any of the existing examples would need to be updated for v3.4.
5. Team also needs to review the SDTMIGv3.4 when it goes out for public review.
