  • Streamline the terminology process, especially with the Therapeutic Areas.

  • CDISC STD Glossary:  do we need a new glossary?  Is it in sync with terminology?  TA fellows might be able to work on this.

  • We need a connection from the terminology to the SDTM variable.

  • CDISC Definition:  Can the citation be separate from the actual definition?  In NCI?  In SHARE?
  • Collaborative tools so the people from around the world can participate in the terminology team discussions.  Due to the time difference, they are unable to attend the weekly terminology team meetings.
  • We need an easier way to search published terminology.

  • Make turnaround time quicker and more targeted.  Possible provisional situation?
  • Improve tools.  Automate.
  • Terminology should be developed along with all of the foundational teams and the TA teams, at the same time, to get the final result.
  • Therapeutic Area terminology should go out for public review with the Therapeutic Area document.
