The StudyStructure element describes the general structure of a clinical study with armsArms, epochs Epochs and cells. A cell is StudyEventGroups. The StudyEventGroup represents the part of the study design that describes what happens in a particular epoch for a particular arm. In CDISC submission standards, it is named a "Study Cell". In ODMv2 it is represented by a StudyEventGroup. StudyEventGroups can be nested, so a CDISC submission "Element" (the basic building block in the trial design) will be represented by a "child" StudyEventGroup.
