  • In general, text data will be represented in upper case (e.g., NEGATIVE).
  • Exceptions may include long text data (e.g., comment text) and values of --TEST in Findings datasets (which may be more readable in title case if used as labels in transposed views). Values from CDISC Controlled Terminology or external code systems (e.g., MedDRA, SNOMED) or response values for QRS instruments specified by the instrument documentation should be in the case specified by those sources, which may be mixed case.
