A WorkflowDef describes a type of workflow that can occur in a study. Workflows can be nested, i.e. by referencing a StudyEventGroupDef that references another WorkflowDef element. In this way a workflow can consist of several sub-workflows.
This is achieved by referencing a StudyEventGroupDef in the workflow that itself references another WorkflowDef element containing the sub-workflow.
